This movement was born in the 80s in England. In 1994, the Thatcher government banned this type of gathering. It is now forbidden in most European countries to gather for the sake of a repetitive music.

As a result of the media pounding that persists to rhyme free techno and drugs, this movement has a bad reputation and for many it is that of a lost youth. Yet we are far from the "No Future" Punk movement. "Do it Yourself" is the slogan. A youth in search of freedom that has its means to have fun and live in its own way, completely independent. Despite the bad reputation and constant police repression, many young people still pursue the adventure. They create their sound systems, organize legal or illegal parties and go travelling further and further to spread their lifestyle and their music.
